It's the end of the world as we know it...

...and I feel sick.

Have you seen this story?

Mystery Illness Baffles Doctors

SAUSALITO -- Is an unknown disease hitting the Bay Area or is it just a case of mass delusion? If you ask intensive care nurse Cindy Casey she'll tell you that the mystery disease is very real and very painful. Casey is one of at least 150 Bay Area residents battling the illness that is characterized by lesions and strange string-like fibers.

"It sounds really strange, it's kind of understandable why people don't believe us, because it sounds so weird," Casey said. "The lesions start out as bumps that are itchy, little round raised bumps. The fibers are quite alarming."

...

Marin microbiologist Jenny Haverty has also be studying the mystery malady. "I accepted specimens from four different people in four different counties in the Bay Area, and I looked at them very carefully over and over again under the microscope," she said. "The colors and shapes of the fibers of each individual were very, very similar."

Tests on similar fibers taken from Bishop's skin and those of several other patients in the Bay Area show them to be tiny tubes of protein. But how and why the filaments are formed remains a mystery for now.

Well, these things happen. Especially these days. Then I saw this eerily similar story reported the same day from the other side of the United States: Mystery Disease Spreading Through Florida. ("A mysterious skin disease is currently spreading across Florida, and doctors are searching for answers on how to stop the epidemic.")

And now:

The first thing I noticed - quite involuntarily, as I was afflicted with it -- was a mystery illness that is making the rounds even here in Switzerland, a lumpy bumpy, subcutaneous rash, for which no dermatologist seems to have any cure, nor even a proper name, though thankfully, one is not told, as apparently in the United States, that one is simply imagining it, that one has "a mental illness".

It itches like blazes, one scratches until one's skin is raw, and the skin never properly heals either, going from rashy skin-scape of pustules of one-to-two millimetres' diameter, that finally burst, exuding a clear-to-yellowish, sticky fluid, to a broken landscape of thinned skin, red-to-purplish in colour, that looks like the mosaic of a dried-out mud-scape, with oozing lines of suppurating, yellowish skin between little, uneven islands the colour and surface texture of fried bacon.

Strangely enough, they seemed to appear simultaneously with the onset of regular, heavy chemtrailing across our skies, parallel lines of white trails dragged behind high-flying planes, some flying through the night and laying down a spiderweb-like network of criss-crossing lines against bright moonlight, that don't simply dissipate like familiar, ordinary contrails, but seem to have enough dense, particulate matter in them to slowly descend, forming strips of cloud that all run together in a white-out that of a beautiful morning generally put an end what had promised to be a cloudless, wonderful day.

So what? you might ask. "This is to counteract global warming" - if you believe governmental explanations now slowly appearing on the Web, now that the populace has actually started asking hard questions, though the local environmental agency here still has a form letter sent out to inquirers, claiming that Chemtrailing is purely an internet rumour.

Then I got something in my mail today, starting out as: "Mystery Illness Baffles Doctors."

Which is where we came in.

Do you remember "Project Merlin"?

One of the alledged forecasts of the software designed by SDI physicists, which counts the Pentagon among its clients: "In 2008-2009, something even more profoundly changing will happen that will affect about 4 out of 6 people. Something like a pandemic."

As I wrote back in January:

"Culling the population by about two-thirds is what many expect to come of our world's convergence of crises. Two billion or so of us is a potentially sustainable number, living at reduced means under a technocratic feudalism. A great die-off seems all but inevitable. How we get there is the question for the High Globalists. Leave it to chance, or anticipate the curve? Bioterror? Eco-terror? Climate change? Nuclear exchange? Have they already answered? And what will be our response?"

As birds fall from the sky, "baffling" scientists, and as scientists fall like birds, puzzling homicide detectives, I think we're just getting started here, with getting finished.

I read alot of scary shit on the internet, and that post
scared me more than anything I've read in a while. Kind of reminds me of that one month cough everyone had about a year ago. Great post Jeff.

The thing with "chemtrails" is that they are released from such high altitudes that it seems unlikely to me that "poisoning" the land below would be done so hapazardly and seemingly aimlessly. We're ostensibly worried about something that is just as present in domestic airline operations as in secret high altitude unidentified boeings spraying unknown molecules into the atmosphere -- a "chem trail" a vapor trail whatever. I love a good mystery like the next guy, but understanding the "propaganda matrix" and "black ops" via the existence of trails tailing from aircraft in the sky is a futile route to take.

This line of thinking will get us nowhere. There are more prosaic ways to try and save Humanity living on a survivable Earth et al. Namely applying the amount of effort we give to pounding out hypotheses on chemtrails instead on why molecular biologists are being irrationally murdered etc? Yeah, real "prosaic" I know. But the chemtrails route is a classic case of a mass panic meme.

Now, I don't mind going into why someone "way up high" would conspiratorily propagate such an unlikely plot, but then maybe if they could plot it, they could also do it. There you go. But still, many of us (including myself), are looking for matrices where we would best survive not concerning ourselves with the infinite possibilities of a physically less likely way to poison planet Earth than what can be done without all the effort and production.

You see, this myth will live on even after it could be as completely debunked as ephemeral claims such as these ever possibly can in the first place, using the tried and true scientific method.

Now, it may be true that the scientific method could be being played back against the scientific minded -- cynically via the corporate media. This is a real possibility. But it could also be that science is being destroyed and eroded intentionally and unintentionally on all fronts. Thus the fear that chemtrails are something we must worry about.

In times like these, humans have always run to the myths and seeming ornateness of the least prosaic explanations possible. This includes all us thinkers too. A thinker can always be made to think about something which will send him into endless dead ends for the rest of his life. Let's worry about these mysterious diseases for now and see what comes of it. gulp. . .

It's hard to know if those fibrous lesions are novel or not-- could be scabies, as the poster above suggests. In general, there are a lot of really gross skin conditions-- look at a dermatology textbook.

But the protein tubules sound totally bizarre.

Jeff, surely your not going to destroy your credibility by promoting "chemtrails"? Say it isn't so.

Jeff, the world needs some sane people around who quietly know there was a shooter on the grassy knoll, and who know about Operation Northwoods, etc. without them jumping off the precipice of reason.

It’s nice to see someone actually mention chemtrails or persistent contrails in an intelligent manner. I've been researching and documenting them in the Dallas area for only about 3 months now, and once you notice them, you will KNOW something is up. You will also immediately correlate the “month-long cough” and other “flu-like” illnesses to these sprayings.

Incidentally, several of the people I’m familiar with in the community have this disease, and do believe quite sincerely that it is directly related to chemtrailing in their area.

It might be worthwhile to research morgellons’ disease, which sounds an awful lot like this “mystery illness”.

Keep up the good work.

I have this dreaded horror of a skin disease and it is for real. I've had springtails, bees, worms ect. come out of and off my skin. The derm.docs. in the USA are full of shit. Now maybe they are just angry that there big heads can't come up with an answer or maybe the CDC has shut them up. I didn't believe in the "dear doctor letter" sent to Dr's from CDC and have now found out that they often do send them out. Who can we trust?

1) This is real I have it and know several people who have it, and it's horrific
2) Whoever asked if anything was published in reputable journal, yes. Here's the link: http://www.headlice.org/report/research/jnyes.pdf
3) This has been in the media MANY times, including Germany: If you want to see them all go here: http://lymebusters.proboards39.com/index.cgi?board=links&action=display&num=1102528941 There are 27 media/study references
4) Now here's the kicker. There is a major political war going on between Morgellons/Lymebusters vs. NPA/NUSPA. It's like watching a SPY vs. SPY episode. So while every one keeps getting sicker, these two forerunners keep using the sick folks as little pawns/minions to further their agendas. Twisted. Also twisted are some of the loonies that hang around on these sites (or moderate them). They are not delusional, they are physically ill. But they certainly aren't sane.
The admininstators make full use of their privilege, wildly deleting and editing posts, or tracking IP's and posting people's real identities (or more accurately who they "think" they are--which is usually wrong) so they can have a posting gang bang on some poor slob that asked the wrong question. They drink liquid copper to cure themselves. They express theories that the PORK is being contaminated because the "enemy" would never eat it.
It's no wonder the "still stable" camp of sufferers can't get any credibility. See for yourself:

You need to visit for a few days running to get the full affect. Sometimes they call a truce, but they will back at it.

Well, I am another here that has the Morgellons Disease. How I wish it were as simple as scabies.
Scabies doesn't take over your home. It does not cause arthritis, carpal-tunnel,hardening and tightened skin, filaments embeded in the skin, floresent chrystals, red heart shaped micro- organisims resting in floresent type hives, three day facial palsy, facial swelling, blackening and swelling and oozing of legs, infections that are diagnosed as deadly, as I have experienced. Others have been known to have loss of vision and hearing, and brain fog, worms, and much more.

Scabies dose not cause other parasites.

Since I had Morgellons, I also became prone to other parasites, such as the rabbit mite, and the botfly larve,
which I obtained at the DR's office.

Morgellons is unique in the fact that it spreads the more you clean, you or your home, auto, etc. You eventually end up burning MOST OF your processions, spending countless hours trying to solve this problem, and spending your last dime trying to get well, and or clean your home.

Why because DR.s avoid you like you have the plague.

Does that tell you anything?

Oh by the way, I am /and was always clean, and well groomed. And I live in a neat community. But I did decide to be nature girl and bought pine animal bedding. The day I spread it, that was the night my shower never got me clean, these things jumped from one part of my body to the other. I went to bed that night feeling the itching and biting. It never stopped, I have had many sleepless nights. It has been more than 2 years and I nearly died last year. This is not to scare you, but to inform you all, there is something out there, but I don't believe everyone can get it. Still no one has taken time out to find out why some get it, and some don't. But just because you don't suffer from it doesn't mean you are not a carrier. There are two types of host, symptomatic, and A-symptomatic.

Strange, how you on this sight, seem willing to believe the unbelievable, but not the truth.

You probebly won't believe me either. But if one of your loved ones comes down with this, Please, be compasionate, and listen and believe. They will need your support, this is a cruel
heartbreaking disease that has been known to lead to suicide.

By the way- some claim to have had this for 9 years.

GO IN GOD'S PROTECTION

planes fly over all day and i havent seen any chemtrails

but there is something wrong
i dont know what but it aint good

but if this dease is caused by bacteria? wouldnt we have had it for a long time

it woulda showed up by now wouldnt it

ps i had scabies they suck

but i have come up with some skin cream that should take the edge off

you will need
triple lanoline mousturizer
gold bond powder
triple antibiot cream
sheffields itchy feet cream
hydrocortizone cream
bynedril allergy cream

mix all ingredients in a cup
in equal amounts except mosturizer and gold bond
add twice as much mosturizer and gold bond powder

stir till blended
it should be light blue grey in color with a smooth texture

it will be thick and greasy when applied but work it into affected areas

this works good on almost all skin problems

it might burn a little thats normal
like dandruff shampoo or mouthwash

i have used this on myself my brother and the dog

none of us had any ill effects

I have had Morgellons for over 13 years. For many years after the initial infection, I just thought it (fibers and sand emerging from my skin) was something particular to my body, something strange and painful that I had just learned to live with. In 1998 I had my first child. Two years later I became suspicious that he too had my strange disease. Two more children later, I know that I have passed this on. It is wretched. If you think the people on lymebusters are insane, then you should consider what your response would be to itching burning biting sensations throughout (even inside) your body, while strange fiber and granular masses emerge from your skin and lesions. To add insult to injury, not only won't your doctors help you, but they will call you "delusional" so they have a suitable excuse not to help you. Tell me, could you manage not to panic? Throw a couple of kids you love into the mix and then tell me how you'd respond. Remember, you feel as if you are waiting to die, and watch the ones you love so dearly die with you. In your frustration, would you begin to become a bit suspicious of the medical community's utter apathy? Wouldn't it seem suspicious? Might you not sound a bit "insane" as you scream about your overwhelming fear that you're being eaten away from the inside out and nobody cares? Believe me, this disease is a person's worst nightmare (not to diminish diseases like AIDS and cancer).

If you know anything about statistics, then consider if it is statistically possible for so many people (1500+ on registered on Morgellons, 8,000+ registered on NUSPA) to be reporting the same symptoms to their doctors prior to ever knowing about the on-line support groups. When I brought fibers to show my docotor in 1992, a Morgellons web-site did not exist. As a happy-go-lucky college student with a great job at the time, I had no mental reason to jepardize my fortune. I don't do drugs; I've always had "normal" mental health. Why would I do this to myself? Ah-ha, I didn't! But nobody with the power to help me will believe me.

So tell me, how would you react?

Sincerely,
Lymebusters/Morgellons "Scared Mommy"

This skin complaint has been around since the early nineties. Check out this site: www.skinparasites.com to find some tips on coping with it.

I cleared my skin parasite problem up with vetinary medicines but it took me 3 years to figure that out. Doctors have no idea how to deal with it and generally deny that anything is wrong.

I live in Dallas. My wife and I contracted this horrid ailment 2 months ago. It's so contagious, that 10 other people we know have contracted it since.

I post on both the Lymebusters board and the Skin Parasites board, and other than the difference of opinion about whether it's a springtail or a worm, I've seen no political "war" going on in the 2 months I've been posting. I wonder about whoever posted that and what his/her agenda is. Discrediting the movement to get it recognized as a real disease, perhaps?

It's bitch to get rid of. We have taken a veterinary medicine which seems to be working for us. We'll see.

Some things I've experienced:

The tubules are real. I've seen them poke up through bite sores I've had. There are also crystalized formations that are like little rocks which appear on your skin. They seem to be made of proteins of some sort. They crush into powder easily, they're very fragile.

The fibers I've pulled off me are red, black or blue, white. Again, they're fragile and disintegrate easily.

I've been infected with mites that aren't scabies and don't act like scabies.

Hairs that act like they're alive leading to speculation that a cotton fiber worm genetically engineered to rid cotton fields of pests has made it into our homes. A company named AgraQuest engineered these things to be voracious and indestructible. And now they might be the culprit behind all this. But that's just one theory. I've also read that the University of California is behind it.

Another theory I've read on one of the boards is that it's a vector disease in which both the parasite--a nematode--and its vector--a winged insect of some sort--both devlop in the host upon infection, which would be sort of rare.

I'm not delusional but I've run into the same problem with doctors. It took several apppointments with several doctors--most of whom didn't even LOOK at our bites, but charged us to tell us it was in our heads--before we found a doctor who would treat us. It's that sort of frustration that, compounded by the ever present sensation of these things moving around under your skin, drives you mad. It's the most frustrating thing in the world: MDs (dermatologists ESPECIALLY) are the most arrogant group of individuals in existence. When I get all worked up and frustrated, I call them lapdogs for the pharmaceutical companies who don't want us to get better because we'll stop buying their drugs. They just want us to treat the symptoms not find a cure. Keeps us coming back.

But, other than the medical establishment which refuses to recognize it as a real disease, there is nothing conspiratorial about it: a very contagious parasitic organism with very uncharacteristic symptoms has migrated into this area. It's difficult to cure or kill and drives its victims nutty whileeating them from the inside. It's very dangerous and needs to be recognized so that it can be dealt with. It does have a mortality rate of all the people who have been driven to commit suicide from the symptoms. I can't imagine spending that much more time feeling this way. It sucks ass, but make no mistake. It's real. Don't believe me? Come on over to my house and roll around on the floor. Then call me in 6 mos to a year so I can say I told you so!

This is the same guy who posted the above comment. It seems I may have erred in my view that there was no "war" going on between the two organizations. I made a post asking if there was anything to it and it was deleted. So, either something did happen and they just don't want it brought up again, or something IS happening they don't want exposed.

Whatever it is, it's a damned shame because it does take away from the legitimacy claims for this this that we are trying to stake.

Ok Ill try to keep this as short and to the point as possible. There are MANY more things going on with this illness than meets the eye. I have many stories but this one troubles and still frightens me the most.. aprox. 7 months ago I did a little digging on skinparasites.com and learned that almost all neighboring post office boxes of theirs were all state and federal agencies. So I posted a letter asking the folks at NUSPA why I felt they knew much more about this than they are saying. They answered back that they are innocent and it is all in my head. this kept me at bay for around a month.

THEN i got another wild hair, cant remember exactly what set me off, and I sent them another post asking where they recieved their funding. My letter was not posted so I sent them another one asking why it was not posted. Again no reply and no post to their page.. I was very perturbed at this point and sent them one more expressing my lack of confidence in their goals and mission concerning this disease... My letter said "I believe that NUSPA is simply a tool of some research group to track and MONITOR the spread of this monster, and by the way where do you get your funding?"
This post made it to the board. As I watched for a reply there was 1 read and 1 reply. The reply was signed by someone going by the nickname Curious, and this is verbatim. Quote "DID YOU ACTUALLY USE THE M-WORD?... YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO THE HOUSE OF PAIN."

ok I'll tell you this reply freaked me out. Litteraly stunned me and I clicked the return button without thinking first to save the thread. I realized this immediately and hit my back button. When I got back to the main posting board all referance to my posts and their answer to me had been deleted.

I must say this person "curious" scares the hell out of me not only by the words in the reply, but from the beginning of my ordeal with this crap I have felt like I was being watched. other things too like things would appear to be just slightly out of place when I get home, My computer has been hacked repeatedly, sometimes successfully, and so on.

IN any event I had been symptom free and believed myself rid of them when I had my girlfriend move in with me.
7 to eight months latere by still no signs of it on me or her.

"Then my house of pain" experience told above happened. In no more than 1 to 3 weeks after all this takes place, My girlfriend aswell as myself to a degree, have become heavily infested and my girl has been in full blown morgellens hell since. coincidence? Maybe but I do not.
House of pain is right. It is far worse watching someone you care about going through it than going through it yourself.

I contracted this nightmare while staying in a hotel for four or more nights a week while out of town working. So it would have been easy to pick me out for some unethicle research study or experiment.

I am not making this up and I truly have no axes to grind with anyone except for "Curious" whoever he/she is or represents. Nuspa was there for me in the beginning and showed me I wasnt alone or nuts. but thats all they have done for me and others with this illness. Overall I feel that they have actually helped the idea of this being mental instead of physical.

Clarification. Credible sources do not use the M word. Why? Because it is a dead end street.

This does not mean there isn't a serious medical problem occurring. It means there is no credibility to the M word or science behind the claims of those who promote it. The use of the word on the internet appears spam-like.

Health officials dispute infectous disease report. Malady reported by family is not infectious and isn't recognized as a disease, state department says.

El Defensor Chieftain Reports

Socorro County commissioners received many calls of concern from county and city residents worried about a San Antonio family reportedly infected with a highly contagious parasitic skin condition named Morgellon's Disease.

In response to commissioners' inquiries, Nelson R. Powers, from the New Mexico Department of Health, met with Socorro County officials on Tuesday and informed them there is no public health concern.

Powers, who holds a non-medical doctorate degree in public health,
presented a statement from the Department of Health that said that the national Centers for Disease Control do not recognize Morgellon's as a disease, nor do physicians.

Dr. Joan Baumbach, chief of the New Mexico Department of Health's
Infectious Disease Epidemiology Bureau, issued a press release in
reference to the case. The press release was distributed at the Socorro County Commission meeting, also held Tuesday.

"It had been brought to the attention of the Department of Health that there is concern in and around Socorro that a potentially communicable disease was thought to be present in the community," Baumbach said in
the release. "The original report was of possible parasitic infections of the skin. A local healthcare provider and both local and state level Department of Health staff have conducted patient evaluations and
environmental investigations. At this time, there is no clinical or
environmental evidence, in this particular case, of any infectious
disease or risk to the general community."

The Department of Health has the legal authority to impose quarantine and/or isolation, but there is no indication that any isolation or quarantine of individuals in or around Socorro is necessary, the release said.

"With respect to Morgellon's Disease, described as a skin disease caused by a parasite, there is no medically recognized literature giving any credibility to Morgellon's Disease," Baumbach's release
said. "Nor is there any medical evidence that supports the hypothesis
that the disease is caused by an unknown organism that co-infects
people with Borrelia burgdorferi, the bacteria that causes Lyme
disease. The tick associated with Lyme disease has never been
identified in New Mexico."

Questions can be directed to the Socorro County Public Health Office at (505) 835-0971. Their hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The water seemed like it had gelatin in it. I went to the hospital and they said I was crazy, even though they could see it. What was odd is that when I left there were 3 police outside the door who watched me as I went to my car. Blood test revealed severe anemia. They would not do a skin test.
Anyway I went to pacifica/rockaway beach and there was a ton of people taking pictures of the "reclaimed water marche" sign. The marche was pumped dry that night.

Although I suffer from this skin crap give it what name you will. I have found that Tea Tree Oil seems to clear it up pretty well. Put some in your daily lotion and use it DAILY...it seems to be the only thing that works.

hellooooooooo have u all been checked for protazoal infections? If the f-n drs havent taken all your unearned money from all of you, yet...insist on a special test for protozoa ae...Isospora, Cyclospora, Toxoplasma, hope to God not Cryptosporidian...remember Milwaukie...over 100 people died and 500,000 were infected from the drinking water!!!!! These and many other protozoans have the ability to auto-fluorescence because they are released from the meronts aka cysts...(bites from the insides???!!!) intra-luminally. Those sand-like granules...could they be what's called Reserve Granules which are found to be inside the Vacuoles of Parasitic Protozoa.does the word Polymorphonuclear Leukocytes ring bells? if ur DOCTOR had a UNICELLULAR PROTOZOA pumping out DNA INFO in every pore of his being...would he tolorate so and so' theory of DELUSIONAL PARASITOSIS (and beings they r related to the DINOFLAGELLATES (how about Crystaloid bodies made up of PROTEIN inside those Vacuoles!!!how about those same protein bodies inside of those cute little wormies bodies?!thats fd up when I have to be my own doctor!!!aint nothing like being locked up in a mental ward for having "bug bites" and worms in my eyes... I guess it brought out the BIOLOGY in me!!!!! negative par-ova lab results pissed me off ...and made me even more determined. spoke to a head guy in tennessee sunday about protozoa theory, hes looking for me a doctor and is supposed to get back w me.

I think a very good website that is done by one of the people who has this mysterious disease is the one by Ever Hopeful.

http://www.dpref.com/science.html

A good explanation of the doctors' typical reaction (or why this isn't being recognized as a problem in the population) and the photos are awesome.

Some people have scalp symptoms only, so for photos of hair follicles and hair roots that have this stuff on it, please see the Lymebusters website photo section.

http://lymebusters.proboards39.com/index.cgi?board=pictures

One sufferer believes that the scalp symptoms are an initial stage and will likely be followed by skin lesions.

A map shows the concentrations of people who responded to a survey:

http://lymebusters.proboards39.com/index.cgi?board=rash&action=display&thread=1124064457&page=1

Here is a chart showing the range of occupations (at first it was thought to be primarily teachers and nurses, but this shows a whole range):

http://home.comcast.net/~usp-db/WorkList.htm

Keep in mind that the survey is a representative sample of people who have computers and are internet savvy enough to use keywords to search and find each other. There are probably a lot more people with this mystery affliction who are on their own.

Theories as to the cause vary, and individuals seem to have different manifestations as well. One thing in common is the DOP - or Delusions of Parasitosis diagnosis and lack of treatment by doctors, thus the frustration leading so many people to find each other on the internet and search for the cause and cure on their own.
