Who Done It?

Since the Henry Lee Lucas story brought mention of Adam Walsh, let's play a little America's Most Wanted.

Colonel Philip Shue

I've been intending for a while to post something about the weird end of Air Force Colonel, Psychiatrist Philip Shue. Since there is a new development, this may be a good time.

Shue died April 16, 2003 near San Antonio, Texas, when his car left the highway and crashed into a cluster of trees. Officials initially reported only that he died of head injuries sustained in the incident.

But I said it was weird: Shue was found with his ankles and wrists wrapped in duct tape, his chest sliced open with a sharp instrument, and both nipples, an earlobe, and his left pinky cut off. He had been missing for two hours, after having left home for work. Shue had been happily planning his imminent retirement from the Air Force.

Weirder still, the Lackland AFB Office of Special Investigations, the County Medical Examiner and the District Attorney convinced a Grand Jury that Shue had committed suicide. Apparently, so it was argued and the jury found, Shue had mutilated himself to make it appear as if he'd been tortured, before driving erratically - though with, I presume, self-malice aforethought - into a tree.

In April 2004, forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht released a report of a second autopsy, which concluded rather that death was "consistent with homicide." Wecht's reasons included the absence of fingerprints on the duct tape, the accident report (Shue's car gradually veered off the highway, suggesting he was losing consciousness), absence of a topical anaesthetic, missing murder weapon and lack of motive for suicide.

The new development is that Tracy Shue, the colonel's widow, has launched a lawsuit to prevent his former wife, Nancy Shue, from claiming a $1 million insurance policy she still holds on Philip. Tracy has stated she believes Nancy, who resides in Florida, had a hand in his death. Nancy has countersued. Disputed are a number of threatening notes addressed to Philip, which Tracy argues came from Nancy, who contends Tracy wrote them herself because the couple resented her policy, which the insurer refused to cancel.

If Philip Shue died on account of something so banal as a million dollars, I'll be surprised, as it explains neither the mutilation nor the Air Force cover-up. Because here's the deal: Shue wasn't murdered so much as he was tortured. Circumstances suggest to me a man who had escaped a ritual torture session which was likely to end in his death and was driving frantically in extremis, and who died as he lapsed into unconsciousness and lost control of the car. Nancy Shue, across the country in Florida, may have had a motive for murder, but for torture? For carving off his nipples, finger and earlobe?

That still leaves a motive for the torturer. I wonder who might want to eliminate a retiring Air Force psychiatrist. I also wonder why the Air Force was so quick to judge Shue's death a "suicide."

Father Alfred Kunz

Kunz, 68, was a popular Wisconsin priest who, with Fathers Malachi Martin and Charles Fiore, had been compiling evidence of Satanic ritual abuse and paedophilia in the Roman Catholic Church. His body was found the morning of March 4, 1998, face down in a pool of his blood, his throat slashed. The case remains unsolved.

All three priests received death threats, and all three are now dead. According to William H. Kennedy, author of Lucifer's Lodge: Satanic Ritual Abuse in the Catholic Church, the "threats increased when conclusive evidence emerged of Milwaukee Archbishop Rembert Weakland's operation of a network of pervert priests who were sexually abusing parishoners." (Weakland was forced to resign in a sex scandal in 2003.)

And then there's the calf mutilation.

From The Las Vegas Weekly's "The Devil and Father Kunz":

According to police reports, it happened between 10 p.m. March 2 and 4 a.m. March 3 at a farm less than 15 minutes away from St. Michael--nearly the exact time frame of Kunz's murder the next day. The caged animal's throat was slit, but, unlike Kunz, its genitals were sliced off. The farmer told police it was probably the work of a cult in the area.

More here on the mutilation:

With its throat slashed and blood drained into a milk pail, the calf also had its hind legs cleanly cut through at the pelvis, Wagner said.

"[The legs] were cleanly, almost professionally cut off," Wagner said. "You would have to know what you were doing."

Wagner discovered the mutilated calf about 7:30 a.m. while driving on his father's farm at 7432 Schneider Road. While driving past wooden calf hutches, he first noticed the redness of the wounds.

He found about an inch of blood congealed at the bottom of the milk pail. The missing calf legs were nowhere to be found.

Six weeks after Kunz's murder, says "The Devil and Father Kunz," Malachi Martin "swore he had inside information that the killing was the 'signature' work of 'Luciferians,'" and that "'what Luciferians resent is interference with someone they regard as theirs.'" Presumably, someone like Archbishop Weakland.

Martin died of a stroke induced "by a fall as he prepared for an exorcism. From his hospital bed shortly before his death, Martin insisted during a check-in call from an associate: 'No, I did NOT fall. I tell you, my legs were pulled out from under me!'"

Twenty-three children

Have you read Tom Flocco's report of his conversation with Franklin Cover-Up photographer Rusty Nelson? You may want to do that now. Nelson says approximately 23 children who "entertained" politicians at Washington sex parties have since died. He also alleges that Hunter S Thompson approached him in 1988 with an offer of $100,000 to film a graphic child sex "snuff movie to be sold to wealthy private clients where a young boy would be murdered as a sacrifice." Nelson says he refused.

Flocco really jarred my memory with his mention of the name Delmart Vreeland. I've long suspected that Vreeland had been a part of a Franklin-like sex ring as a boy. Now, with Flocco's reminder that it was on a child prostitution charge that Vreeland was arrested last November, things start to make a weird sense. Which is the only sense things make, now.

"she was always surprised they never found those bodies..."

I received the following in an email this morning, with a request that I post it:

"Fifteen years ago I had a good friend who was going through therapy for childhood sexual abuse. I saw her journals and listened to her talk about satanic cult abuse. She had taken part in the killing of her own babysitter. She loved her babysitter who was a sixteen year old runaway. My friend was around 5 years old. They told her they would kill her if she did not cooperate. Some adult put his hands around her small hands and then stabbed her beloved babysitter to death. She spoke to me of her Dad and grandfather helping steal kids from poor Mexican areas and then take them up to the East Texas area and kill them. She looked so normal as an adult. She was a flight attendant for American for years. She never understood why she made so many trips to Mexico. She later discovered she was still involved with the cult acting as a courier for the cult without even knowing it. She was also tortured by a Doctor named Dr. Green. Her life was a nightmare. She had so many parts because of the MPD/DID.

"I lost track of her in the last few years. Some say she returned to the cult. It is sad to now read about people who seemed to endure the exact type of abuse she had described only to me all of those years. She was always afraid. Always lived in terror that they would one day kill her.

"She grew up in Dallas. We were driving on LBJ 635 one day and she was looking out the windown and kind of mumbled that she was always surprised they never found those bodies that had been buried where the construction later took place for Dallas' main freeway around the city...LBJ.

"What a tragedy...."

Henry: Portrait of a Bush Supporter

Although he said he was anguished by the decision, in an interview in Talk magazine, writer Tucker Carlson described Bush mimicking the woman's final plea for her life. "'Please,' Bush whimpers, his lips pursed in mock desperation, 'don't kill me.'" - Time Magazine

The man who mocked Karla Faye Tucker sure picked his moments.

As Governor of Texas, George W Bush notched 152 - count -em! - confirmed kills. A personal best, until 9/11. His giddy impression of Tucker (#58) even got under the skin of scary Republican presidential candidate Gary Bauer, who said "I think it is nothing short of unbelievable that the governor of a major state running for president thought it was acceptable to mock a woman he decided to put to death."

Bush did not care if the condemned were mentally ill or had been a juvenile offender. He did not hesitate to execute Betty Lou Beets, a great-grandmother convicted of killing her chronically abusive partner. ("What my husband started, Texas will finish," she said.) There was no exception to Bush's repeated position that "he would only consider granting clemency in cases of actual innocence or where the courts have failed to provide a thorough review on appeal."

Well, one teeny exception: Henry Lee Lucas.

"Here's lookin' at you, Mr Bush"

Remember Henry? He confessed to up to 600 murders, though he may have been guilty for as "few" as six, while most accounts place the likely number at several dozen. Henry was the recipient of Governor Bush's sole pardon, because the particular murder for which he was sentenced was found to be unsupported by evidence. Less than two weeks before Lucas was to be executed, Bush intervened, and asked his appointed parole board to review Henry's case. And "eight days later the Board uncharacteristically recommended that Henry's execution not take place."

The funny-strange thing is, many of the 152 who were not fortunate enough to receive the Governor's favour also had evidence supporting their claims of innocence. But Lucas did not just receive a temporary stay while his case was reviewed, but a full clemency.

Was there more to Lucas than the lone, random psychopath?

From David McGowan's Programmed to Kill:

Lucas claimed that he was trained by a nationwide satanic cult in a mobile paramilitary training camp in the Florida Everglades.... Henry further claimed the leaders of the camp were so impressed with his handling of a knife that he was allowed to serve as an instructor. Following his training, Henry claimed that he served the cult in various ways, including as a contract killer and as an abductor of children, whom he delivered to a ranch in Mexico near Juarez. Once there, they were used in the production of child pornography and for ritual sacrifices. Henry has said that this cult's operations were based in Texas, and included trafficking in children and drugs, among other illegal pursuits.

What Henry claimed, essentially, is that what appeared to be the random work of a serial killer was in fact a planned series of crimes often committed for specific purposes....

Before his rampage, Lucas had spent 10 years in prison for murdering his mother, nearly half that time in a psychiatric ward, where he received "intensive drug and electroshock treatments." He later described it as a "nightmare that would not end," and complained of hearing voices in his head.

Anyone who has studied MKULTRA knows how covert mind control research was conducted in hospitals on unwitting psychiatric patients. Was Lucas one, who was then released into the service of a sheltered Satanic cult of child pornographers? It's bizarre conjecture, and we can't simply take Lucas's word for a conspiracy. Who would? Which, of course, also happens to make him a perfect subject.

Should we take Bush's word, that although "Henry Lee Lucas is unquestionably guilty of other despicable crimes...there is enough doubt about this particular crime that the state of Texas should not impose its ultimate penalty by executing him"?

Pearl of great price

When Daniel Pearl was taken hostage in January 2002, one of his kidnappers' demands was the completion of the US transfer to Pakistan of F-16s, held up since that country's nuclear tests of 1998. That the US has at last approved the sale is only the latest reason why Pearl died in vain.

It seemed a strange demand at the time, perhaps because even that time was more innocent than this time. Since that was before we learned that Omar Saeed Shiekh, the abduction's mastermind, was both Osama bin Laden's "favourite son" and an asset of Pakistan's ISI. It was Omar who wired more than $100,000 to Mohammed Atta in the weeks before 9/11 on the instruction of ISI Director Mahmood Ahmed. All Ahmed suffered for his travails was an early retirement and a comfortable sinecure. The buddy of Atta and George Tenet was not even interrograted by the FBI, and questions regarding his role in the 9/11 money chain were scrubbed from official White House transcripts.

Here's how Bernard-Henri Lévy answers his question, Who Killed Daniel Pearl?

"Isn't that, incidentally, what President Pervez Musharraf himself said when, the day after the murder, in an astounding, angry outburst, he exclaimed that Daniel Pearl had been 'over intrusive' - too curious, sticking his nose in places he shouldn't have? Didn't Musharraf give it away when, in a comment cited in The Washington Post (among others) on 23 February 2002, he dared to declare, 'Perhaps Daniel Pearl was over inquisitive; a mediaperson should be aware of the dangers of getting into dangerous areas; unfortunately, he got over-involved in intelligence games.'

"So the question then becomes: Why? What had Pearl discovered, or what was he in the process of discovering, that condemned him to death? What is the stolent secret that, for his captors, was out of the question for him to walk away with?

"The relationship between al-Qaeda and the ISI, of course. The tight web of relations between the two organizations, the two worlds."

Though Pakistan has yet to give up the ghost of bin Laden, its "War on Terror" shadow-boxing with al Qaeda has produced preternaturally timely results for Musharraf. This has been a fairly straightforward task, on account of the broad grey zone where al Qaeda and the ISI become indistinguishable. Giving up a "terrorist" or a "mastermind" is not so hard when many of them are also operatives or stooges, whether they know it or not, of military intelligence. Musharraf gets to play America's good strong man, and the revelation that Pakistan has clandestinely purchased nuclear components from the US will not change that.

The US pursues its ambitions in Central Asia under the flag of a bogus crusade, while Pakistan plays along with the fiction it helped to engineer and strengthens its hand. So everybody's happy. Even, maybe, India, now that "Lockheed Martin has offered to build 'exclusive' F-16 fighters for the Indian Air Force."

Happiest of all, as always, the arms merchants.

More from Kay Griggs

If you've seen the first part of the Kay Griggs interview, discussed here, you may want to click right and save here for the second, and last.

Unfortunately I need to add a few words of regret, and caution.

The two 20-minute clips are culled from eight hours of interview. The strength of the first clip is Griggs' speaking chiefly from her and her husband's experience. I was hoping for more of the same in the second (for instance, details of her husband's purportedly explosive diary). Unfortunately, too much time is given to Griggs' opinion on irrelvant matters, and about which her opinion is no more informed than mine. (Frankly, I could care less what she thinks of the bombing of Dresden.)

Another annoyance is Eric Hufschmidt's frequent interruptions and wild tangents. It's hard to say this, because I appreciate his hosting the files and bringing Griggs' story to a wider audience. But he handicaps the chances of a receptive audience when he pauses Griggs mid-thought to interject, à propos of nothing, his own conjecture that the lunar landings were hoaxed.

Talk about a poison pill! Many will already find Griggs' information regarding institutionalized homosexual blackmail, rape, and ritual paedophilia in the highest ranks of the US military and government hard enough to swallow, without Hufschmidt making them gag on his own fringe fixations.

And perhaps, maybe, I should talk, since I have fringe fixations of my own. But Hufschmidt is entitled to make a case that Neil Armstrong took one small step on a soundstage; I just think he does truthseeking a disservice by throwing this into the mix here, on Kay Griggs' tape, which undercuts its effectiveness as a teaching tool.

I'm persuaded by the two clips that Kay Griggs has something important to say. And I'm grateful to Hufschmidt that I now want to hear the other seven hours and twenty minutes.

Naomi Klein: Sgrena's car shot from behind

I mentioned in passing yesterday that US military command in Iraq has prevented Italian police from examining the car in which Giuliana Sgrena was wounded and Nicola Calipari killed. Today, Naomi Klein tells Democracy Now why that might be:

NAOMI KLEIN: One of the things that we keep hearing is that she was fired on on the road to the airport, which is a notoriously dangerous road. In fact, it's often described as the most dangerous road in the world. So this is treated as a fairly common and understandable incident that there would be a shooting like this on that road. And I was on that road myself, and it is a really treacherous place with explosions going off all the time and a lot of checkpoints. What Giuliana told me that I had not realized before is that she wasn't on that road at all. She was on a completely different road that I actually didn't know existed. It's a secured road that you can only enter through the Green Zone and is reserved exclusively for ambassadors and top military officials. So, when Calipari, the Italian security intelligence officer, released her from captivity, they drove directly to the Green Zone, went through the elaborate checkpoint process which everyone must go through to enter the Green Zone, which involves checking in obviously with U.S. forces, and then they drove onto this secured road. And the other thing that Giuliana told me that she's quite frustrated about is the description of the vehicle that fired on her as being part of a checkpoint. She says it wasn't a checkpoint at all. It was simply a tank that was parked on the side of the road that opened fire on them. There was no process of trying to stop the car, she said, or any signals. From her perspective, they were just -- it was just opening fire by a tank. The other thing she told me that was surprising to me was that they were fired on from behind. Because I think part of what we're hearing is that the U.S. soldiers opened fire on their car, because they didn't know who they were, and they were afraid. It was self-defense, they were afraid. The fear, of course, is that their car might blow up or that they might come under attack themselves. And what Giuliana Sgrena really stressed with me was that she -- the bullet that injured her so badly and that killed Calipari, came from behind, entered the back seat of the car. And the only person who was not severely injured in the car was the driver, and she said that this is because the shots weren't coming from the front or even from the side. They were coming from behind, i.e. they were driving away. So, the idea that this was an act of self-defense, I think becomes much more questionable. And that detail may explain why there's some reticence to give up the vehicle for inspection. Because if indeed the majority of the gunfire is coming from behind, then clearly, they were firing from -- they were firing at a car that was driving away from them.

Unless she misspoke, Klein says it was a single bullet which injured Sgrena and killed Calipari. If so, then presumably it passed through her shoulder and entered his temple as he was attempting to shield her.

And as we know, the military detail which fired on the car had been assigned to outgoing Ambassador of Death, John Negroponte. But the just a bunch of nervous kids at the checkpoint fiction dies hard.

By the way, it's confirmed: Bush does have a "bald thing." From last Wednesday's Globe and Mail, on the weird scenes inside Crawford's Coffee Shop:

Mr. Bush comes by the restaurant occasionally, the last time was the Friday after U.S. Thanksgiving. The routine is always the same.

"The Secret Service comes first. They secure the area. We turn the fuel pumps off and they bring in the dog. They're very discreet.

"Then they come in and he signs autographs and visits with the people," she said, bringing a framed collection of 12 photos from the November visit.

"He loves rubbing bald heads. He says it brings him luck."

Is it the future yet?

Something tells me, maybe, yes?

It must be hard to tell for those who had expected to live the Jetsons' life. Where are my domestic robots? Where is my flying car? But I don't think we'll be getting flying cars. Not us.

After a lull of, say, 30 years or so, things are suddenly coming at us too fast to process. Though processing, at this stage, should be nearly superfluous. We should recognize what is coming if we recall, say, 30 years ago, having heard such words as, "If present trends continue, in 30 years...."

If you care for a glimpse of your Future, Imperfect, read three Schiavo-free stories from the past few days:

Worries swelling over oil shortage

In the space of a couple of hours last week, crude oil prices hit a record $56 a barrel, President Bush fretted publicly over world oil shortages and the Senate voted to open an Alaskan wildlife refuge to drilling.
...
When oil production stops rising to meet growing demand, it "will result in dramatically higher oil prices, which will cause protracted economic hardship in the United States and the world," a team of Energy Department consultants warned in a report last month.

"The challenge of oil peaking deserves immediate, serious attention if risks are to be fully understood and mitigation begun on a timely basis."

OPEC says it's lost control of oil prices

OPEC ministers meeting in Iran Wednesday will be grappling with a problem they haven’t confronted in the cartel’s 45-year history. In the past, OPEC tried to cool overheated prices by pumping more when supplies got too tight. But most OPEC producers say they’re already pumping as fast as they can. And despite the high cost of a barrel of crude, world demand shows no signs of slowing.
...
"OPEC has done all it can do.” Qatar Oil Minister Abdullah al-Attiyah said. “This is out of the control of OPEC."

Oil could gush to $100

That's the view from analysts who may have considered that prospect a long shot just a few months ago. And to be sure, some still think that's a stretch from the current $55 level, short of a major disruption like a terrorist attack.

But momentum is gaining for a view that sees rising crude prices as more than a temporary spike due to speculation or terrorism fears. If that's true, New Yorkers can expect to be socked for items from gasoline and heating oil to rent and groceries.

"It [$100 oil] is totally realistic within a year or two," said Stephen Leeb, who tracks oil for his own investment firm....
"I don't think $100 is even a big deal," Leeb said. His long-term projection? Try $250 a barrel in six to nine years.

But wait: the price of a barrel of oil dipped below $55 dolars this week, so it can't be that bad. No; actually, it's worse. Because the price dropped on the strength of US crude inventories, not on account of global production, which is destined to only fall. And anything that keeps energy consumers from confronting their inevitable powerdown is a very bad thing indeed.

Canada increased its proven oil reseves by some 3,600 percent in 2003 by, for the first time, including the synthetic crude from Alberta's tar sands. Suddenly, Canada had 180 billion barrels of oil, the second largest on paper, after Saudi Arabia's own over-stated reserve. A good thing? No, and again, worsening a bad situation. Because the meaning of "cheap oil" is not principally found in the cost at the pump, but in the energy efficiency of the oil's extraction: the Energy Return on Invested Energy (EROIE). Cheap oil, at its cheapest, which we're well past, meant up to 100 times the energy returned on investment. In The Party's Over, Richard Heinberg quotes geologist Walter Youngquist on the tar sands, saying "it takes the equivalent of two out of each three barrels of oil recovered to pay for all the energy and other costs." Tar sands extraction, by any measure, is extremely costly, not least because extracting the oil requires massive amounts of fresh water. Within a few decades, we may find such a use for fresh water to be madly extravagant.

Peak Oil is real, and it's here, and it's bad. Mike Ruppert may say that's the end of the story. And he may be right. But I wonder if, just maybe, that's where it starts to get interesting. And I don't mean in a good way.

So, is that it, then?

If it is, then we ought to get to get acquainted with Easter Island.

"Love the Moai, dude, but where's the trees?"

Read The Lorax lately? That's the short history of Easter Island. To transport and erect their Moai - the huge figures carved from volcanic rock - the Polynesian Oncelers deforested their tiny, remote home of its palm trees, which held together the fragile soil and provided shelter for 25 species of nesting seabirds. They'd arrived on the island around 900 AD, and just 600 years later agriculture was failing, poultry was off the menu, cannibalism was introduced, and there was no wood left to build boats with which to escape. By 1872, the population had fallen to just 111, from approximately 20,000.

In this February interview, Linda Moulton Howe asks Dr Jared Diamond, author of Collapse, How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed, whether we face a global Easter Island event. He thinks the odds for catastrophe are auspicious:

DIAMOND: In the past, societies that had not many people and with rather simple technology still managed to destroy their environments. For example, Easter Island with maybe 20,000 people with just stone and wooden tools they did manage to deforest the island and so doing, they destroyed their society. It took them 850 years to do it. Today, though, (on the Earth), we don't have 20,000 people. We have 6.5 billion and we have bulldozers and nuclear power, so we're far more people and far more potent and destructive technology. We can destroy our environment much faster than the Easter Islanders. In fact, there are many parts of the world that have gotten de-forested within half a dozen years, or within a few decades. That's what makes our present situation serious.

HOWE: Why do you think that global warming and all of the potential consequences does not rise globally above politics and become a world priority to solve because it will affect everyone?

DIAMOND: It's a problem of what is called "creeping normalcy." It's not something that exploded like the Pinatubo Volcano in the Philippines, nor like September 11, 2001. Instead, the temperatures get a little warmer and then a little colder and then warmer and then colder. It's been gradually creeping along and there hasn't been a moment in which someone said, "My God, it's 10 degrees warmer this year. We've got to start doing something."

That's the reason why it has taken 30 years for essentially every knowledgeable climatologists to agree that global warming is a serious problem and that people are the cause of it. It's also why it's taken 30 years to get all, except the last two governments, to agree about its importance.

The "cheap oil" of the Easter Islanders was their wood. It made possible transportation and industry, and its disappearance had unexpected and dire consequences across the culture, and drove it to extinction. If that's all we have - if no powers have made provisions for what's to come next - then the lights are going out on global civilization.

Quite possible. And given what we have before our eyes much of the time, most probable. But I wonder about what's behind some eyes, and also about what we're permitted to see some of the time. And it's not wishful thinking.

"A science-fiction world"

In a July 2001 interview, Bob Dylan said "We are living in a science-fiction world where Disney and Disney's science-fiction have won. This is the real world. Science-fiction has become the real world, whether we realize it or not."

And, just maybe, that world is becoming Zardoz.

Remember? Zardoz is the name of the flying stone god of the 23rd Century "Exterminators," who believe themselves to be the rulers of the world. One of their number - Sean Connery, in a red leather thong - catches a ride in the big head, and discovers Zardoz is just a techno-magickal device of social control for the world's true masters, a somewhat Luciferian sect of elites called the "Eternals." ("Zardoz," of course, proves to be a corruption of The Wizard of Oz which, coincidentally, is frequently named by mind control survivors as a triggering device in Monarch programming.)

MSNBC made a case for the Zardoz scenario, with this report from last September:

"Flying Triangle" sightings on the rise

They have become legendary in UFO circles. Huge, silent-running "Flying Triangles" have been seen by ground observers creeping through the sky low and slow near cities, and quietly cruising over highways.

The National Institute for Discovery Science, or NIDS, has cataloged the Triangle sightings, sifting through and combining databases to take a hard look at the mystery craft. Based in Las Vegas, NIDS is a privately funded science institute with a strong research focusing on aerial phenomena. The results of their study have just been released, and lead to some unnerving, puzzling conclusions.

The study points out: "The United States is currently experiencing a wave of Flying Triangle sightings that may have intensified in the 1990s, especially towards the latter part of the 1990s. The wave continues. The Flying Triangles are being openly deployed over and near population centers, including in the vicinity of major interstate highways."
...
The NIDS study emphasizes that the flying of these vehicles may be more in harmony with an attempt to display or to be noticed. There appears to be little or no attempt to hide. That finding has led to a modification of an earlier NIDS hypothesis that the Triangles are covertly deployed Defense Department aircraft.

I know: "black triangles" could describe many conventional, or near conventional, aircraft developed by US defense contractors. But these triangles are different: huge; silent; capable of sudden changes in speed and direction; able to hover and accelerate at seemingly impossible velocities.

And as the NIDS study finds, rather than a shielded black ops project, the pattern of sightings is more suggestive of "an attempt to display or be noticed." Then there are the vivid, flashing lights which, after reading this witness, makes me wonder whether they are intended, at some point, to have a psychotropic effect:

….size of object based in part on the hugeness of the strobing “cop car gumball” banks of lights.... [It] looked like it was on a dreamy pleasure cruise…very quiet… just a low humming…and strobing bizarre red/clear/blue huge banks of lights. This thing was so psychedelic flashy, I couldn’t believe I was standing there alone watching it. I knew it was for real when I saw my dog looked up at it.

Another funny thing about these black triangles: even though they've been seen by tens of thousands, intercepted by air force fighters, tracked on radar, photographed and videotaped, it's intellectually suspect to mention them. So they are excised from the realm of things that might matter, and consigned to Fortean novelty. "Black triangles" have become the "black helicopters" shorthand for the au courant debunker of the "paranoid style." Never mind that both are real.

From a Las Vegas television news report on "Top Secret Black Triangles":

[T]he airspace over Belgium was repeatedly violated by huge unidentified black triangles. Ten thousand witnesses saw them. Several were photographed. The Belgian Air Force dispatched F-16s to intercept and destroy the unknown intruders, but the triangles performed maneuvers that seem virtually impossible.

Dr. Colm Kelleher said, "They launched on several occasions top of the line military aircraft against these things and they were left in the dust. One minute they're overhead, and the next they're over the horizon."

Black triangle over Belgium, 1989

Here is a good resource for the remarkable 1989-1990 triangle "flap" over Belgium, and here is an account of how it started:

[T]he Belgian flap began in November of 1989. The events of November 29 would be documented by no less than thirty different groups of witnesses, and three separate groups of police officers. All of the reports related a large object flying at low altitude. The craft was of a flat, triangular shape, with lights underneath. This giant craft made not a sound as it slowly, fearlessly, moved across the landscape of Belgium. There was free sharing of information as the Belgian populace tracked this craft as it moved from the town of Liege to the border of the Netherlands and Germany. Two F-16s were ordered to intercept and identify this phenomena, and one of the jet's radars locked the object in. It appeared as a small diamond on the pilot's screen. The pilot reported that only a few seconds after locking on the target, the object began to pick up speed, quickly moving out of radar range. An hour-long chase ensued, during which time the F-16s picked up the strange craft's signal two additional times, only to see it fade from view. The triangular craft seemed to be playing a cat and mouse game, and finally was lost in the night lights of Brussels. The pilots of the fighters reported that the UFO had made maneuvers at speeds beyond the capability of their technology, and once the radar showed the craft almost instantly drop from 10,000 to 500 feet in 5 seconds.

Analysis of Belgian radar data from a March 30, 1990 sighting can be found on this page, and below is a graph of the triangle's performance. Altitude in thousands of feet is measured on the left, Heading (degrees) and speed (knots) on the right, and elapsed seconds on the bottom. The red line is altitude, the green heading, and the blue speed.

Here's an account from 1996 of six British troopers encountering a black triangle while on night moves. ("It really did my head in") For what it's worth, under hypnosis, a soldier recalled American forces acting in concert with it. ("Tell me what you can see now, Mark." "A Yank...") And reportedly, according to a "top BBC executive," British media has been silenced with a "D-Notice" on the subject of Black Triangles:

The executive, who cannot be named, is the former producer of a very popular BBC science programme. He told one of our team that the black triangle "craft", first witnessed by hundreds in the Hudson Valley region of the United States [(mid-1980's), then by thousands in Belgium (1989-90) and more in Britain], has been "heavily D-Noticed" by the Government. For this reason the BBC will not be reporting on the enigmatic craft, no matter how many witness reports they receive.

According to the former science programme producer, the reason the Government has seen fit to slap a restrictive notice on reporting of the Triangle is because -so far as the Government has secretly informed the BBC- the craft is part of a new secret military project, and as such must be protected under the secrecy laws.

If this is the case, however, it surely begs the question: If the so called Black Triangle is a secrety military aircraft, then what is it doing hovering over residential areas and frightening people half to death? Something somewhere simply does not add up.

Another apparent "triangle" is the famous "Phoenix Lights" (which, despite the name, was viewed on a nearly 500 km course from Arizona to Nevada March 13, 1997). The lights were not discreet UFOs in formation, but arrays of lights about the edges of a single, black, wedge-shaped craft. Witnesses could discern the shape of a massive black craft as it occluded the stars overhead.

The "Phoenix Lights"

Six points regarding the Phoenix Lights from a press release of the National UFO Reporting Center, prepared by Peter B. Davenport:

1. Perhaps thousands, or tens of thousands, of witnesses on the ground witnessed at least one object pass and/or hover overhead which they described as being huge, gigantic, or unimaginably large. Many of the witnesses reported that they had the impression that a Boeing 747 could land on the back of the object they had just witnessed pass overhead their location.

2. Most witnesses described the object as being generally triangular in shape, with anywhere from five, to "many, innumerable," lights on the leading edge of the object. Some observers reported that the pattern of lights consisted of three lights clustered near the "nose" of the object, with one light on each of the trailing tips of the triangle. Other individuals reported an object that appeared to have seven large lights equally spaced along its leading edge.

3. The object apparently was capable of very rapid flight, probably even supersonic flight, although few witnesses reported any sound emanating from it. The object was reported heading generally to the southeast over Henderson, NV, at 1855 hrs. (Pacific), and was next reported heading to the south in the vicinity of Paulden, AZ, approximately 22 minutes later at 2017 hrs. (Mountain). Within approximately one minute of the sighting in Paulden, the object was reported from the vicinity of Prescott Valley, AZ, roughly 30 miles to the south. The object then appeared over Phoenix, where it is reported to have hovered for 4-5 minutes in the vicinity of the intersection of Indian School Road and 7th Avenue.

4. The object passed through the airspace of Sky Harbor Airport, where it was witnessed by air traffic controllers in the airport tower, and where it also was reported via radio by at least one commercial flight crew. They reported via radio that the object was passing directly overhead their aircraft, which was on the ground preparing to depart Sky Harbor. The object reportedly did not appear on radar, and it did not communicate via either radio or transponder.

5. From the Phoenix area, the object reportedly proceeded generally south toward South Mountain, continuing southeast toward Tucson, AZ, along Interstate 10. One family, driving northwest toward Phoenix on Interstate 10 near Casa Grande, AZ, reported that the object remained above them for an estimated 1- 2 minutes while they were driving at approximately 80 miles per hour. The object was so large above them that the family's two children in the back seat of their station wagon simultaneously could see the opposite "wing tips" of the object out both the left and right passenger windows.

6. The National UFO Reporting Center received a telephone call approximately seven hours after the incident from a person who identified himself as an airman stationed at Luke Air Force Base, located 20 miles to the west of Phoenix. The individual reported that the U. S. Air Force had launched two F-15c fighter aircraft from Luke AFB, and that one of the aircraft had "intercepted" a gigantic object over the intersection of Indian School Road and 7th Avenue. It was also reported by this individual that the onboard radar of the intercepting fighter had suddenly gone to a condition of "white noise," and that the lights on the anomalous object simultaneously had suddenly dimmed in unison and disappeared from the pilot's sight.

Eye in the sky?

So what'll it be: Easter Island, or Zardoz? Either way, a Dark Age, though the former comes without the sham sky-god of techno-magickal social controllers. So maybe we should hope for Easter Island. Maybe we should reconsign the black triangles to the realm of Fortean novelty, where they can exist, sort of, but not matter. Maybe that would be a less dark prospect, and we can try to squirrel away some wood while we can, to maybe carry us to another island someday.

To a practitioner of ritual magic, the triangle "is the area in which the spirit appears and is compelled to obedience," writes Lon Milo DuQuette in The Illustrated Goetia of Aleister Crowley. "The almost infinite metaphysical virtues of a triangle make it a perfect device to confine and control that which has never been confined and controlled by you."

Should we survive what we'll need to survive, we may be alive to see either the end of our Moai culture, or the beginning of something worse, if our Immortals have been preparing, covertly, for a post-carbon world after all. But unless we start shouting now, and do more than shout, I doubt we'll have much say in the matter.

Be seeing you?

By the way, a couple of updates:

Remember Giuliana Sgrena's car? US military command in Iraq is barring Italian police from examining it.

Remember that mysterious fibrous disease? Here's an unsettling new take.

It's all about "them"

It ain't about "us"

Here's a concept that shifted my paradigm: It's of no concern whether I think something ridiculous; what matters is, do they? And do they, really?

For instance, I used to have no consideration for secret societies. Why would I? Old boys in aprons, the Templars, Skull and Bones and "Jahbulon" - so what? The subject seemed as serious as The Simpsons' musical question, "Who made Steve Guttenberg a star?" It meant nothing to me.

But then, it's not all about me, is it? And self-evidently, secret societies, and the secrets they keep, matter a great deal to many who hold authority over us.

I've never seen a UFO, so my thoughts are uninfluenced by anecdote. And it's easy to dismiss accounts of sightings and abductions as swamp gas, hoaxes, fantasies and delusions. Easy, and preferable, because to admit their reality would be to perturb our understanding of reality. Yet whatever their nature, or natures, UFOs remain an extremely sensitive matter to the National Security State. The amount of disinformation and official scorn the subject continues to accrue is partial evidence of this.

We've seen how ridicule heaped upon sensitive subjects deters serious inquiry. In Confrontations, Jacques Vallee writes of a remarkable 1976 sighting in Grenoble, in which a blue-white disc with an intense green halo was viewed by multiple and independent witnesses. The silent disk was seen flying at a constant velocity, then stopping to hover for up to 10 seconds, before flying at a greater speed in a different direction. What makes this sighting particularly notable is that one witness was a senior French physicist, and still the scientific establishment expressed no interest: "To them it was just another UFO report, even if the main witness was one of their colleagues." (Similarly, in Messengers of Deception, Vallee recounts personally witnessing astronomers destroy data which detailed observations of "impossible" UFOs, because they didn't want to be regarded as "crazy.")

UFOs have not only been the subject of ridicule, but of official, "serious" investigations, which have co-opted researchers into perpetrating limited hangouts. "Bluebook," for instance, and the Condon Report. (And in The Last Investigation, Gaeton Fonzi said much the same regarding the House Select Committee on Assassinations.) Officially, these subjects have been investigated. Officially, while some questions remain, the cases are closed.

Through the Stargate

Now, let's consider "Project Stargate," the 24-year remote-viewing program of US military-intelligence. Which, as with its reluctanctly-admitted mind control research, has been officially terminated, and pronounced a "failure."

In 1995, the CIA sponsored an evaluation of the Remote-Viewing Program by the "American Institutes for Research." Its derisive conclusions were seized upon by the mainstream press as proof of government waste and the inefficacy of parapsychology. Indeed, the CIA seemed over-eager to promote these impressions. As W. Adam Mandelbaum writes in The Psychic Battlefield (A History of the Military-Occult Complex):

It is interesting to note how easily obtained this report is.... Your author received a fax of the summary within five minutes of requesting it, and an email copy in about the same amount of time. In two decades of dealing with government bureaucracies, it was the first time I saw such a demonstration of efficiency and public service. After reviewing the report for this history, I appreciated the reasons for such efficiency. The CIA was most anxious that any inquiring party would have the conclusions of the evaluation immediately upon request. These conclusions, as we shall see, were mandated prior to the evaluation having commenced.

In a press release of the Society for Scientific Exploration, Dr Edwin May, the former director for remote-viewing research, asserted "It is estimated that more than 80,000 pages of program documents remain highly classified," and were not examined for the AIR report, which concluded remote viewing "failed to produce the concrete specific information valued in intelligence gathering."

Mandelbaum makes a case for the program's having produced "concrete specific information":

In the early days of the research, Pat Price correctly obtained code words from a target site, and accurately rendered structural features of numerous targets. That is concrete and specific. In 1981, Joseph McMoneagle accurately determined via remote viewing that General James Dozier was being held in Padua, and described the correct building. That is concrete and specific. In 1979 McMoneagle and Riley accurately described a Chinese nuclear device at Lop Nor, and a test of a bomb that exploded but failed to go nuclear. That is concrete and specific. The aforesaid AIR conclusion about the failure of operational remote viewing is a concret and specific misstatement of fact. Put more simply, it is a lie.

Dr May adds: "There is compelling evidence that the CIA set the outcome with regard to intelligence usage before the evaluation had begun. This was accomplished by limiting the research and operations data sets to exclude positive findings."

An "eyeball roller"

A fascinating refutation of Project Stargate by a Lieutenant Colonel appeared in the Winter, 2000 issue of The Intelligencer: Journal of US Intelligence Studies. He calls Stargate an "eyeball roller," and declares remote viewing impossible upon the materialist argument that "the transmission of visual information to the brain simply doesn't occur outside the visual spectrum."

This is fascinating chiefly for who wrote it: Lt Col Michael Aquino, of MindWar and other notorieties, and founder of the Temple of Set. (It can be viewed as a .pdf file here, hosted by the Temple.) The Temples's reading list includes many titles in Enochian magick. A purpose of the Temple is not to promote Elizabethan scholarship, but to do magick. (According to the University of Virginia's curriculum on New Religious Movements, "New members start out as Setian I°, then will advance to Adept II° after being judged to be skilled at black magic. If new affiliates do not become Adept II° within two years after joining, their membership will be discontinued.")

Whatever remote viewing may be, it is not unusually keen eyesight, which seems to be the basis of Aquino's refutation. It may, in fact, be more akin to a magickal working, something up Aquino's alley. In Remote Viewing Secrets, the Pentagon's most successful psychic spy, Joseph McMoneagle, writes that while viewing, he has occasionally encountered "entities" which attempted to impede his vision.

When Aquino left the Church of Satan in 1975, he "performed a Greater Black Magical Working that resulted in (among other things) an inspired document called The Book of Coming Forth By Night." Undoubtedly Aquino would have little regard for a debunking of the genesis of his temple's sacred text based upon a materialist argument concerning the transmission of auditory information to the brain.

Would the CIA intentionally mislead the public regarding the efficacy of its psychic spying? Would the Defense Department prefer to be regarded as wasteful, than successful? Consider for a moment the admission, on September 10, 2001, that the Pentagon has "lost" several trillion dollars over the course of a decade; roughly a third of its budget. Apparently it would prefer to be considered grossly negligent, than to admit to a deep black budget with no oversight.

By the way

Maybe it's time to say this: while I've come think it highly probably there is an occult aspect to the National Security State, I'm not grinding a religous axe about it. Just as with sexual practice, which religious practice often mimics, so long as people are not harmed and no injury is brought to the world, I have no problem with anyone's beliefs, however esoteric.

What alarms me is the increasing body of evidence that people are being harmed, and the world is being injured, by a cult abuse which enjoys the sanction a State which itself has become a covert practioner of the Black Arts. I am not suggesting that all those who are pursuing hermetic knowledge and are involved in the occult - "New Agers," Thelemites, Luciferians and the rest - are conspiring together, or share in the guilt.

For what it's worth, here's the website of Aaron C Donahue, who is both a remote viewer and a Luciferian.

He claims George W Bush is spiritually possessed, and a "strange tube-like morphology of an intelligence system is noted" within his body. "This tube-like image is commonly seen of Angels operating outside of normal awareness."

I wouldn't have thought so a couple of years ago, but now, it makes perfect sense.

The Anti-War Institution

So I marched yesterday, as I did last year, and the year before that. And I suppose I will next year, too, and the year to follow. By then, perhaps, we'll be exchanging greeting cards: Happy Anti-War Day to the World's Most Peaceful Dad!

If there ever was an anti-war movement, it's long gone. (Suicided?) What's taken its place is an institution of self-actualization. Ineffective as hell, except maybe for transitory catharsis, but at least its obligations are nominal: attend the annual hand-wringing parade, and you've paid the dues for another 12 months. Just enough commitment for the Not-Me Generation of Not in my name.

Since, for me, a fog of this can't be happening unreality still envelopes Cheney and Bush, I guess it's only fitting their opposition start reminding me of an old Star Trek episode. Specifically, "Return of the Archons": a puritanical sect is ruled by mind control, but on set days, at the stroke of the hour, control is removed for a mindless "festival" of drunken debauchery and violence. The next morning, again on the hour, control is restored. It's as though "festival" never happened.

Protesting the war isn't "mindless," unless it's nothing but an unconsidered reflex. But when it's institutional, it becomes another form of social control. It's a way to let the dissident faction "blow off steam." No harm done to the ruling interests, no change to government policy, and the protesters leave thinking they've made their "voices heard," even though nobody's listening.

Part of the problem, perhaps, is too many people are trying to fight parapolitics with politics. Even after Florida, the Supreme Court, Wellstone, Diebold and Ohio, they don't recognize that, so far as America is concerned, politics is finished. And parapolitical power nodes, which have come well out of the shadows since 2000, are neither accountable to voters, nor terribly responsive to chants of "Hey Hey! Ho Ho!"

So, instead of March 19, what am I suggesting? Since I'm a Canadian, feel free to file this under "Easy for him to say." But March 19 is a good place to start. And I'd also suggest March 20, and then the 21st, and the 22nd after that....

A march on Washington could be a million strong, but if everyone goes home at the end of the day, nothing changes. But if 1,000 camp on the Capitol grounds, and 10,000 join them the following night, nothing would be the same.

This is what democracy used to look like.

The Art of the Lab Room Floor

"Lab Room Floor"
copyright Lynn Schirmer (reproduced with permission)

Of all the crimes of the National Security State we're not supposed to discuss, mind control - specifically, mind control induced by ritual abuse and torture - is the one most people don't need telling to keep quiet about.

The subject is so beyond most realms of our experience, and the subject matter, and its implications, so disturbing, it's easier and more respectable to pretend it's not there. Denial may be a comforting fiction, but it revictimizes survivors, and worse: it ensures the abuse perpetuates itself, and towards an end we can only imagine.

Lynn Schirmer is a survivor of cult and state torture, and an artist whose work is a testament to America's most awful truths.

Journal drawing, copyright Lynn Schirmer (reproduced with permission)

"A lab programming session: The intention is to associate the vortex image with the memory of a cult torture experience (the image in the cloud) to create a trigger effect. The trigger can then be used to limit the mobility of the alter, blocking access inside the system. It also can produce a general state of fear because of the ubiquitousness of the symbol.

"In this scene are some standard fixtures for early training sessions: a modified (electrified) Skinner box to the left, portable E.C.T. machine for compliance, P.E.T. or later E.E.G. for monitoring brain activity (keeps track of which alter is being trained), intravenous for drugs and viewing window."

A person of non-interest

It's always crazy-making to consider what CNN deems newsworthy. On almost every rare occasion I tune in, there is zero correspondence between the stories I'm following, and those which, say, Daryn Kagan tells me are important. This is no small thing. Because if she's right, then I'm delusional, and have fabricated an elaborate, and scary, fantasy world. A part of me hopes so. It would be a relief to know this is all in my head.

It's not as if I expect to see coverage, amounting to acknowledgement, of state-sanctioned ritual abuse and mind control; of the protected drug trade, and the meaning of a male prostitute in the White House. Neither am I surprised they won't touch Cythia McKinney's grilling Donald Rumsfeld on Dyncorp's trafficking in child sex slaves and the Pentagon's 9/11 war games. Yet I do wonder what it will take for CNN - for anyone in the US media - to regard Michael Meiring as a "person of interest."

You remember Meiring: the naturalized American spook, tied to both the CIA and Mindanao rebel groups such as MILF and Abbu Sayyaf, who blew off his legs in a Davao City hotel room when a bomb of his making exploded prematurely. Just three days later, with the incident under investigation and Meiring suspected in other recent bombings, an FBI team flew in to spirit him out of the hospital, and out of the country. Meiring, last we heard, is living in Los Angeles, possibly under another name, still enjoying the protection of the state.

The latest from Davao City is a Regional Trial Court Judge has announced he has issued a certificate requesting Meiring's extradition.

If the Philippines pursues Meiring's extradition - which I doubt, so long as Gloria Arroyo remains president - it will be interesting to see how far the US will go to obstruct an ally's conduct of the "War on Terror." Just as interesting will be how long the America media can go without mentioning it.

Someone once said, "We will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbor them." It would appear that, once again, American exceptionalism draws certain distinctions.

Yesterday I posted the news of the judge's extradition request on Democratic Underground, with links to previous Meiring stories on my blog. There was hardly any interest. But within a few minutes, my blog was visited by someone from the Department of Defense Network Information Center, stationed in Brisbane Australia, who arrived via the links I'd added to the post.

So it would appear that Meiring's of interest to somebody.

"How high's the water, Mama?"

Two feet high, and risin'...

Of all the Johnny Cash songs America could have become, it had to be this one.

You can't keep your ear to the ground anymore, not when you're worried about keeping your head above water. And you may have noticed, there's one helluva downpour.

Consider just these recent appointments:

John Bolton, UN Ambassador. Someone who contends that West Nile Virus is a Cuban WMD attack. A man who said "There is no United Nations.... When the United States leads, the United Nations will follow. When it suits our interests to do so, we will do so. When it does not suit our interests, we will not." An advocate of a One-China Policy: Taiwan. A man who keeps a bronzed grenade in his office "to show how proud he is of being called a bomb-thrower" Someone described by former patron Jesse Helms as "the kind of man with whom I would want to stand at Armageddon, if it should be my lot to be on hand for what is forecast to be the final battle between good and evil in this world."

Karen Hughes, "Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy." In other words, the task of sugar-coating US foreign adventures, chiefly the "War on Terror," and particularly to the Islamic world, has been entrusted to Bush's monolingual fixer from his days in Austin, who has nothing but domestic policy experience.

Michael Griffin, to head NASA. Griffin, reports a glowing New York Times, was the "president and chief operating officer of In-Q-Tel, a nonprofit investment organization sponsored by the Central Intelligence Agency. He also served as the deputy for technology at the Strategic Defense Initiative Organization and worked on missile defense systems from 1986 to 1991." Let the Hubble fall, and the missiles fly - space will be liberated!

And this morning, Paul Wolfowitz, US nominee for President of the World Bank.

There is no understanding these appointments, before we appreciate that uniting them all is one arrogant, fat finger in the face of the world. These are decisions of a White House that doesn't care, knows it doesn't care, and wants us to know it doesn't care. The choices would be bizarre enough if they had been made unconscious of the impression they would make. But Occam doesn't cut that way, especially when multiplied by four. And they keep piling up. That's why the real danger in keeping your ear to the ground these days is drowning.

And this is just the stuff in the mainstream. This is just the stuff you are supposed to know about.

Three feet high, and risin'...

The Russian news agency Novosti has conducted an interview with Leonid Shebarshin, who served as the KGB's "chief of foreign spying" in the 1980s, and was named acting KGB chairman after the failed coup of 1991. (A French translation of the interview may be accessed here; I've yet to find it in English.)

Shebarshin makes three points which stand out: Iran will be the next target; "international terrorism" is a convenient fiction, and Osama bin Laden "is still today an agent of the CIA."

Did you get that? The former acting chairman of the KGB says bin Laden is still working for the United States. Of course, we'd be foolish to take a professional spy's word for anything. But, and again of course, we don't need to. We have our eyes, and our brains, and our guts. We've had for more than three years the reports that bin Laden was treated at the American hospital in Dubai the summer of 2001, and there met with the CIA station chief and others. What we've done with it, how we've let that and much else inform our judgement of the "War on Terror" narrative, has been our business. Our responsibility.

Besides, you can't tell people this stuff. Everyone needs to intuit for themselves just how wrong things have become. Or not. But knowing that something has gone horribly wrong with America is also about self-knowledge, particularly for Americans. Because the cognitive dissonance between the national myths and the imperial reality is threatening to become a serious issue of mental health.

Also out of Russia, there is this rumour, which originally appeared yesterday on the global investor board Le Metropole Cafe:

The Café and GATA (Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee) have developed quite the information network around the world. On that note I am passing on what I am hearing from a solid source. None of this can go in the verified camp, so it all must be treated as rumor until we receive proper verification:

Russia is preparing for possible war and its actions on the dollar indicate just that; they are going to back Syria, Iran. China will back Iran.

Russia has made deals on oil and gas projects and opened its minerals to trading. This should show soon in response to Chinese raw materials buying.

Russia has also abandoned efforts to tie the ruble's movement closely to the dollar and switched to shadowing both the euro and the US currency. This is the first step to war. Other countries operating de facto dollar pegs will follow suit. With 81 per cent of Russia's oil exports currently sold to Europe, the move means that Russia will eventually denominate its oil in euros.

Asia is following Russia, or should I say leading, and is about to dump dollars in sizeable chunks; they believe that the U.S. dollar is no longer seen as a stable currency and it appears that Malaysia will be the first major Asian economy to dump the dollar. China has already calculated when they will optimize the dumping of the dollar to provide the greatest strength to a newly un-pegged Yuan. Both events will occur very close together and it will be planned to do the most damage to the US.

As the source says, "Take it or leave it. Time will tell on all counts." And time ain't what it used to be.

Four feet high, and risin'...

Now, if you want to wade real deep in the Big Muddy, go here, and download the video "Desperate Wives, Part One."

Let me tell you something of what you'll see.

You'll see a 20-minute clip of an interview with Kay Pollard Griggs, wife - widow? - of Marine Colonel George Griggs. She speaks of her husband's torment regarding rampant homosexual blackmail, rape, and systemic paedophilia in the highest ranks of the US military and government. Not exactly new to us who considered "Jeff Gannon," Craig Spence, Johnny Gosch and more; just corroboration. (By the way, Colonel Griggs's name comes up in this story, which adds the protected drug trade to the mix. He is also linked here to retired Colonel Michael Aquino, of "Franklin Cover-Up" notoriety, and the Temple of Set.)

You'll see a woman who, if she's lying, must first be lying to herself, because despite the sensational subject, she comes across as entirely credible.

Now, honestly, I don't know how this material can ever make a difference. The Left can't touch it because the gatekeepers will call it homophobia, though it's really about power. And the Right won't touch it because it tarnishes its own militarist fetish. And most, anyway, would dismiss it out of hand as nonsense, because nothing in the media has prepared them for such knowledge. So who is going to pay attention?

More importantly, why is it important now to pay attention to this, when there's so much being washed away in the flood?

There is no keeping pace with the acceleration of America's disorder, but there may be some understanding it, which must come before it can be corrected. For that, though, we have to go back, even before Project Paperclip and the attempted corpo-coup against Franklin Roosevelt. Maybe we need to go back to the 19th Century, and consider men like Albert Pike, and perhaps things like the erection of the Osirian phallus called the Washington Monument. Maybe we need to go back further still. Maybe millenia. Perhaps we need to do that, to discern a thread of history - either genuine, or meaningful only to the fascist imagination - that links ancient mystery religions and secret societies to today's imperial death cult, which binds itself in blood and semen.

Well, it's five feet high, and risin'....

A few days ago, someone mentioned Terence McKenna's Timewave theory, that time is literally speeding up, and novelty increasing, towards a temporal zero point in late 2012. I don't know about that. But as allegorical truth, it's brilliant. And particularly insightful since McKenna died in 2000, before the crazy kicked it up a notch.

I guess we'll see in seven years or so. And with time what it is these days, that's not too long to wait.

"Permanent Uncle" Sam

"Hey, kids..."

I find it equally ominous and amusing to read that "senior US administration officials are working on a policy to 'contain' Hugo Chavez." Ominous because Chavez is a man in the crosshairs of an empire growing increasingly ruthless with desperation. Amusing, because Chavez is just a man, and what the US hopes to contain is not contained by him. The continent is practically stinking with progressive thought, and action. Soon, the State Department will need to "contain" Evo Morales, of Bolivia's Movement to Socialism, the likely victor in next year's presidential election. And it's not down to one leader, or even several. As Tommy Douglas, the Greatest Canadian, liked to say, "You can lock up a man, but you can't lock up an idea."

US influence in Latin America is waning to the vanishing point of absurdity. Like today's warning to Suriname, that if its citizens elect former dictator Desi Bouterse, as they seem likely to do on May 25, then Washington will sever ties with the nation on account of Bouterse's cocaine conviction. The United States " won’t deal with a person in the presidential seat who is convicted on drug charges." That the American President has his own cocaine conviction is presumably nobody's concern, since it's been scrubbed from the records. Nevermind his family's prominent, though covert, and so unmentionable, role in the protected drug trade.

One small incident to illustrate the continent's emergence from its fascist legacy: Argentina has expelled Nazi pedophile - and isn't it something how often we see those words together? - Paul Schaefer has to face justice in Chile for having abused boys for decades at his fascist-cult compound, "Colonia Dignidad." (Germany is interested in Schaefer as well, for his alleged role in kidnapping German children for his camp.) Schaefer liked his abused charges to call him "Permanent Uncle." Not only was his organization long-sheltered by Chilean authorities, but it became a state torture camp, and a significant asset in "Operation Condor."

"Permanent Uncle" Paul Schaefer:

A little background from a New York Times article of Dec 30, 2002, "Chile Sect Thrives Despite Criminal Charges":

The group's reclusive leader is accused of sexually abusing scores of young boys. Former political prisoners say they were imprisoned and tortured in underground dungeons in the group's compound. An American who disappeared on a hiking vacation is reported to have been executed there. More than 50 other charges are pending against the group and its leaders, ranging from kidnapping and forced labor to fraud and tax evasion.

Yet the paramilitary religious sect known as Colonia Dignidad continues to flourish here in a 70-square-mile enclave in the Andean foothills that remains, in the words of a recent Chilean congressional report, a heavily armed ''state within a state.''

Protected by barricades, barbed wire, roadblocks, searchlights and hidden cameras and microphones, Colonia Dignidad has for more than 40 years been the fortress home of about 300 people, most of them German citizens. Their only loyalty is to the sect's German-born founder, Paul Schafer, who likes to call himself the Permanent Uncle and preaches an apocalyptic creed that includes strong anti-Semitic and anti-Communist elements.

The American presumed executed at Colonia Dignidad is mathmatics professor Boris Weisfeiler. His sister Olga maintains a website dedicated to uncovering the truth of his 20-year old disappearance. In a letter from last July 13 to George W Bush, she reveals that she "learned in June 2000 - through declassified State Department documents -"

- that Boris was apprehended by a Chilean military patrol and taken to Colonia Dignidad, a 37,000 acre German pseudo-religious sect with links to Nazism. Colonia Dignidad, during the military dictatorship of Gen. Augusto Pinochet, was one of the most notorious and secretive detention and torture center, from where dozens of political prisoners disappeared.

According to military sources, Boris was accused of being a Russian spy, then a CIA, and later a Jewish spy. His detention and delivery to Colonia Dignidad was due to the outstanding order of the Chilean Army to arrest and bring all strangers found in the area to Colonia for interrogations. Two and a half years after his disappearance, my brother was reportedly seen alive inside the settlement. Colonia Dignidad, now under the name of Villa Baviera, still exists and is fully operational today, in spite of the approximately 70 criminal lawsuits brought against its leaders, for charges ranging from tax evasion and falsification of documents, to child abuse, kidnappings and torture.

In the past few months, the investigators of my brother’s disappearance have received additional information: Boris was detained in Colonia Dignidad for some period of time, brutally tortured there and later on killed either by Colonia's leaders or by the members of Chilean military. It has become obvious to me, now more then ever, that the key answers to the mystery of Boris' disappearance are hidden behind the barbed wires fences of Colonia Dignidad.

I wish her luck, but I don't think that will be enough. After all, the President's father, George Herbert Walker Bush, was CIA Director at the time of Weisfeiler's disappearance, during Operation Condor's CIA-enabled targetting of Chilean dissidents:

Operation Condor was based out of a bizarre Nazi colony in Chile known as Colonia Dignidad, whose founder is wanted in Germany for kidnapping and molesting young boys. Colonia Dignidad was used by Pinochets team to train for the 1973 coup d'etat, and then served as a torture center where prisoners were "disappeared". Many of the top ranking Nazi war criminals in South America are believed to have lived in Colonia Dignidad.

The camp survives, but under another name, having undergone an extreme makeover. It claims to have integrated into Chilean society, and shed Schaefer's legacy. Whether that's true, I don't know. But at least it recognizes a zeitgeist when it sees one.

Neither "Permanent Uncle," is.

By the way, those following the permutations of the Franklin Cover-Up/Gannon/Gosch story will want to get over to Tom Flocco today. Rusty Nelson, Lawrence King's photographer, has been re-arrested, and just two days after Hunter S Thompson's death. Flocco has lots of information that was new to me, including the recent death of Franklin victim and tormented witness Troy Boner, and some words from John DeCamp on Gannon's identity.

Conspiracy Theory Made Easy

A fascinating article today entitled "Untimely Deaths in Ukraine", disputing the official explanations of "strange suicides and car crashes" in the Ukraine.

Get a load of this, and from the Los Angeles Times, no less:

The former Ukrainian interior minister, scheduled to meet in just a few hours with prosecutors to give testimony in a high-profile case of political murder, aimed a gun at his chin and fired, sending a bullet ripping through his cheek and out his upper jaw. Then he aimed it at his temple and fired again.

Suicide, government investigators ruled.
...
Zvarych, the justice minister, has expressed doubt that the former interior minister could have recovered sufficiently from the shock of the first wound to have delivered the second.

"I have certain doubts personally speaking about whether someone can pull the trigger twice in order to commit suicide," he said. "There's this threshold of pain, I think, that one would need to be able to cross in order to be able to do that, something called a 'pain syndrome,' that I think is very difficult to overcome.

Consider that Gary Webb - "the last North American career journalist," in Al Giordano's words - was also judged to have killed himself with two gunshots to the head. Consider the mainstream media was as incurious about the circumstances of his death as it had disgraced itself regarding the substance of his investigations. And consider it was the LA Times which played the point in Webb's character assassination, even in his obituary.

My purpose isn't to rehash speculation about Webb's death, but to underscore the selective speculation of the American press.

Imagine if, in the space of five years, figures of the stature of John F Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr and Robert F Kennedy had been murdered anywhere else in the world.

Imagine if finely-milled anthrax had been mailed to the opponents of Hugo Chavez, just as his government introduced "El Acto Del Patriota," which promised to consolidate power in the presidency and violate the spirit and letter of the Venezuelan constitution. And imagine if the investigation led to a bioweapons lab of the Venezuelan military, and then faltered.

Imagine if "Pavlov Wellstonski," Vladimir Putin's leading opponent of the war in Chechnya, had died in a plane crash which decided control of the Duma.

Nothing is as disreputable to the American mainstream media as "conspiracy theory," but it's riddled with conspiracy theorists who apply their craft liberally to other countries. "Conspiracy theory" appears to be disreputable only in domestic practice, not in international theory. The LA Times' byline attributes the story to Kim Murphy, but it may as well be Alex Jones, with the singular exception that the suspicious deaths are made in the Ukraine, not the United States.

The Times could easily publish a story entitled "Untimely Deaths in the US." Except it would never do such a thing. So I guess it's not that easy after all.

The "Day of Declaration"

Did a vehicle come from somewhere out there,
Just to land in the Andes?
Was it round, and did it have a motor?
Or...was it something…different?
– Frank Zappa, "Inca Roads"

Have you seen this man?

Probably not. He's that damned, ellusive Pimpernel of the New Age Movement (a.k.a., the old Theosophist Movement). He's "Lord Maitreya." And perhaps, if the Military-Occult Complex has its way, he may soon be coming to a pineal gland near you.

Here's a disclaimer, before I get into this.

Everytime I start one of these threads, I wonder how big a mistake I'm about to make. Not because I could embarrass myself on the Internet. (It would take nude photos to do that, and I don't work blue.) Rather, and simply, because I could be profoundly wrong. Whenever dealing with the Highly Weird, that's a high probability. As I've said before, all the conclusions I draw must be provisional, because there's too much I don't know to be definitive about anything but my ignorance.

And so, as Rod Serling would say: Submitted for your approval....

Look Out - Here Comes "Maitreya"

So, who is he, and why should we care? The second question may be more easily answered than the first. But let's start with the who, as best we can.

Maitreya is said to be an "Ascended Master" - a "Secret Chief" - who, in 1977, took human form and left his "ancient retreat in the Himalayas" to reside in the Indo-Pakistani community of London. "He has been living and working there, seemingly as an ordinary man, his true status known to relatively few," according to Share International, the non-profit organization dedicated to preparing the world for his lordship. When the world is ready - and desperate enough - Maitreya's "Day of Declaration" will arrive, on which he will telepathically communicate his reality to the world. Voila - instant karma. Share International says "at this time of great political, economic and social crisis, Maitreya will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice, and global cooperation."

Maitreya's emergence has been slow and fitfull, supposedly to avoid infringing humanity's free will, though Share lists numerous miraculous appearances around the world. Curiously, "in most cases, he has magnetized water in the vicinity before he appeared." (Crop circles - those that are not obvious hoaxes - also often demonstrate bizarre magnetic properties.) And curiouser: "The people before whom he appears are in every case fundamentalists of one persuasion or another. Denominationally they vary tremendously but the consistent factor is that they are all extremely dogmatic in their beliefs. Maitreya appears to them to soften them up. These are the groups from whom, throughout the world, he expects the major opposition and rejection."

The most dramatic and best documented of his appearances occurred in Nairobi, in 1988. Here is the Share account, while others can be read on this page, compiled by someone who believes something quite different about Maitreya.

Pardon me, comin' through: Maitreya as Jesus, in Kenya

Editor of the Kenya Times, Job Mutungi, was an eyewitness. In the June 22, 1988 edition, he wrote:

Worshippers were busy singing Mungu ni Mwema, a popular Swahili hymn, when Mary Akatsa interjected. She announced that God had spoken to her and told her to "await a miracle because a very important guest would be coming to give her a very vital message." People "braced themselves for the unknown" while others stared blankly at her, their mouths agape with awe and bewilderment.

Five minutes later, she asked those who were singing and dancing to stop as the long-awaited message had arrived. "Jesus! Jesus! Jesus of Nazareth!" went the loud whispers from the crowd as they raised up their hands in submission and divine welcome.

The tall figure of a barefooted, white-robed and bearded man appeared from nowhere and stood in the middle of the crowd. He was walking slowly towards the new church building away from the tent. Mary walked with him, side by side.
...

I looked at my watch. It was 4.15 pm. Her voice was drowned by cries and loud moans of "Jesus! Jesu. Yeeesu! You have come. Welcome Jeesus! Wash our sins. Help us Jeesus!" For many, it was the last prayer. It appeared to them the "Son of Man" had at last fulfilled His promise of coming back to earth. They knelt down in emotional prayers in a frantic effort to save their souls at the 11th hour. A man lying near to me urinated in his trousers. But I stared back at the stranger in the meeting without blinking. Strange, sporadic light wafted on top of his turbaned head, his feet and his entire body.

Maitreya, in the guise of Jesus, spoke "clear Swahili, which had no traces of accent," and is said to have vanished before witnesses after indicating he wished to return to Heaven.

The Curious Mr Creme

Maitreya's herald, Benjamin Creme:

Apart from the odd miraculous apparition, Maitreya keeps a low profile. He doesn't give interviews, though they are forever being promised. Rather, he communicates telepathically with Englishman Benjamin Creme, who serves as Maitreya's official mouthpiece. Creme has spent decades travelling the world, lecturing and meditating, and presenting "overshadowings" of Ascended Masters. Incredibly, though he's devoted the latter part of his life to being Maitreya's John the Baptist, Creme claims to have never physically met Maitreya.

In his The Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom, Creme discloses such early influences upon his thought as Helen Blavatsky, founder of the Theosophical Society (mystical trunk to esoteric branches such as the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and Aleister Crowley's OTO), and Alice Bailey, co-founder of the Lucifer, and later Lucis, Trust. Bailey's 1948 volume The Reappearance of the Christ - allegedly given to her by a Tibetan Master - obviously inspired Creme's own work.

Helen Blavatsky and Alice Bailey:

Yet Creme claims his influences have not all been of this world. Interestingly, especially given our speculation regarding the occult provenence of UFOs, and the significance of both the phenomenon and UFO cults to military intelligence, he writes:

In mid-1957, I began to work with a society involved with the UFO phenomenon, which claimed contact with the Space Brothers. With this group I did my first public speaking, but more importantly, discovered my ability to transmit the cosmic spiritual energies from the Space People.... Toward the end of 1958 I withdrew from this society and entered into the closest contact with, and work for, the Space Brothers.

Creme claims that in 1959 he was visited by "space brothers," and ever since has been in telepathic contact with a spiritual master in the Himalayas. His mission, which he chose to accept: herald the coming of Maitreya.

A quick digression: Steven Greer of the "Disclosure Project" - leading proponent of the "benign space brother" theory of UFOs - is embraced by Share. Also, the modern crop circle phenomenon, something also commonly attributed to "ETs" - seems coincident with Maitreya's descent from "his ancient retreat in the Himilayas" and arrival in Britain. This hasn't been missed by Share, which says "the crop circles are created by the phenomenon we call UFOs, and there is a relation between Maitreya and the UFOs." The fact that most crop circles appear in the UK "is an oblique, subtle way of drawing attention to the fact that Maitreya is in England."

Those who are muttering "crop circles - WTF?" should consider that they were important enough to "New Age enthusiast" Lawrence Rockefeller, that he became a leading patron of circle research (as well as of population control), advocating the promotion of the benign, alien intelligence theory of their origin. Asking "Why?" does not seem like an unreasonable question. (Rockefeller was also a supporter of the work of Steven Greer, which - to those so inclined - may suggest Greer is unwittingly more a part of the disinfo problem, than its solution.)

A leading circle researcher and recipient of a Rockefeller grant, Colin Andrews, has had too-close-for-comfort encounters with the CIA. And bonus amateur footage on the DVD of the documentary Crop Circles: Quest for Truth show two British military helicoptors arriving at a fresh circle. One is seen intimidating the "croppies," while the other slowly maneuvers over a ball of white light in the field of grain, which eventually blinks out. While hoaxes may account for up to 80% of today's circles, something - something not extraterrestrial, though not entirely human, but which acts in concert with human intelligence - seems to be trying to get our attention. Something that has the attention of military intelligence.

It would be wrong to proceed without quoting Jacques Vallee, from Messengers of Deception:

Some influential group could well be using various cults as a front for its own purposes. Some occult specialists go beyond this view, and suggest that the UFO phenomenon could even by the device that such a group is using to make its existence felt, to project an image of the future destiny of Man that transcends war, poverty, disease and national government.
...
UFO groups, contactee organizations, many occult sects and various government branches are engaged in a strange sort of game.... The manipulation of the phenomenon may be...in order to use the minds and emotions of the contactees as a means of influencing social beliefs and behavior. If so, who has decided in which direction this behavior should be bent?

Either/Or:

In 1990, Sean David Morton, who says he is a "'Sensitive' or psychic," visited Creme with a documentary film crew. He writes he "went in with no preconceptions or agendas":

While Creme spoke, I could psychically "see" two odd beings standing near him, one small and thick, the other thin and very tall. I had the feeling that they were somehow 'protecting' him from me. I mentioned this to Joe, and he smiled and laughed knowingly. Later he told me that he could "see" these two entities also, being able to see around a few corners himself. Creme does a meditation in which he claims to be "Overshadowed" by the spirits of his "Masters". The first time he did it for us, he said he was overshadowed by a Tibetan with whom he carries on a constant inner and outer dialogue, very much like someone talking with an invisible, imaginary friend, like a new age Jimmy Stewart talking with Harvey, his giant rabbit. When Creme is stumped for an answer, he will stop, close his eyes, listen to some unseeable source, and then respond.

On his first Overshadowing, I closed my eyes and held up my hands, palms outwards, to absorb the healing spiritual energy that would accompany such a manifestation.

What I saw and felt shocked me.

I saw a circular sphere of white, yellowish energy encircle his head, and from it sprouted tentacles of bluish purple Neptunian colors. I suddenly realized that it was exactly the same image that covered the walls on the multiple canvases of his artwork. With my hand outstretched the hair at the nape of my neck began to bristle. To say I felt nothing wouldn't do it justice. It would be more accurate to say I felt "nothingness", as if a hole had simply opened in the space/time continuum that was chilling, and seemed to suck the energy from all three of us.

Later in the interview, he agreed to do an Overshadowing from Lord Maitreya himself. Creme says he has never personally met or seen Maitreya, but that he knows where he now lives and could do so at anytime. He felt that it was better for his development if he carried on having not seen him, "Those having NOT seen, yet still believing" being more blessed. This time I gave him my moonstone ring to hold and "charge". I had gotten the ring in India and it possesses certain mystical properties of its own, which I am not free to discuss. As The Overshadowing began, the same tentacled manifestation occurred, but this time the tendrils where a flaming, hellish red and yellow.

The three of us were almost knocked unconscious by the energy drain in the room. I began to get cold, woozy and a sick, and it wasn't due to the terrible English food! The same numbing cold filled me. When he gave me back my ring, it was ICE COLD! It stayed that way for three days, where it needed heavy purification and re-energizing. All of the above are just my opinions and personal subjective observations, and they should be taken as such.

"It would be more accurate to say I felt 'nothingness.'" Or, in the Enochian tongue, "I felt AFFA," which was also the name of the self-professed "space patrol leader" channelled by Naval Intelligence in 1959.

There's another interesting account here of the "overshadowing" phenomenon, as witnessed at the end of a Creme lecture by an evangelical Christian (who appears to have gone scouting for the Antichrist):

It wasn't long at all before I was the object of Benjamin Creme deep, unearthly gaze. His eyes seemed to be looking through the back of my head. I blinked to clear my vision, but it was still there. Perhaps I had been staring too long, and my vision was turning blurry? I glanced away, a few feet from his head, to the potted plant next to him. It was gone. I looked back at Benjamin, and WHAM! There it was again... The man was bathed in a strange glow. It was golden in color, and it extended to my peripheral vision. It was as if there were two layers of images. One was the normal image of a man sitting with his palm facing me, and the second was the same image, yet golden toned and softly defocused. The two images appeared to move against each other slightly in a random pulsing behaviour. The overall look was a bit similar to the old Hollywood pin-up glamour queens of the 1940's... in perfect, yet soft focus.
...
When he was looking directly at me, the glow was quite strong, absolutely unmistakable. If I was to take my eyes off his body, even by a few feet, the glow stopped abruptly. It was not a sleepy vision type thing, for the moment that I would look back at him the glow would trigger again immediately! I could turn it on and off like a switch, just by shifting my eyes. Even if I only saw him from the corner of my eye, the glow was not there... but look back, and boom. Full-on glow. The next thing that I noticed was that as he gazed around the room, the amount of glow I saw would decrease as he got further off-axis from me. Think of it as a lighthouse. He was emanating the light, it was not being shined on him. I checked, but it was not that kind of illumination anyway. I knew I would see no source lamp of any type, and I was right.
...
As I walked down the hallway to the door, I sidled up alongside a woman of about 40.

I quietly asked her about the end of the evening.

Me: What were those last words that he said?
Her: Uhhmmmm, I think... thank you?
Me: Oh, okay...(pause)...did he... glow?
Her: YES!!! (her eyes go very wide, and she catches her breath)
Me: Did it stop if you looked away?
Her: Yes! and it was golden....and... and....

Benjamin Creme, "Lord Maitreya" and Wayne Peterson:

Maitreya's Diplomat

Though he's Maitreya's "official" mouthpiece, Creme does not stand alone. Perhaps more curious than Creme is American Wayne Peterson, a 32-year career diplomat, with postings in Asia, Africa and Latin America, and the recently retired director of the Fulbright Scholarship Program. Unlike Creme, Peterson's actually met Maitreya.

Peterson strikes a curious note in this 2000 interview, in which he suggests just how deep this goes, seemingly without realizing it himself:

I can publicly talk about it for a very good reason and that reason is, nobody knows who I am, really. My name is not a household word. But most of the people that Maitreya is working with are people whose name would be recognized by millions of people, if not internationally, at least in their own country. I will tell one little story.

I was invited one day not too many years ago, when a friend of mine got together 16 people more or less in a private residence in Washington. The reason for this was that a delegation from Europe had arrived. All I can say about this delegation is that among it was a man who is a very close friend of the Pope. And you can put two and two together if you like.

The White House was represented at this little dinner and there were people who were very influential in the political plane of things in Washington as well as some lawyers and a few other people. It was my role to talk about the Reappearance of the Christ. This is pretty tough, when you've got one of the men who have the ear of the pope sitting across the table from you and you don't know if he is going to get up and try and ring your neck or not.

It was an attempt to see how much these people knew. Only afterwards did we know that they knew very well about this. I talked on and on and on and not a word was said by anyone. Finally I stopped and said to the host and hostess "I think I have said enough. Doesn't anyone have anything to say?"

They finally prodded this European visitor who knows the pope very well and he said, "I cannot speak about this. It is up for the Holy Father to speak about this. I can only say: we know all about this, this is not new to us."

The party broke up after that and I was the last person leaving. When I was walking across the yard of this huge area that was build for foreign ambassadors, the bushes were moving and someone jumped out of the dark out of these bushes. It was one of the dinner guests who said, "I wanted to talk to you, but I didn't want the other people see me talk to you."

That's how secretive they are. They wouldn't even open up at the dinner party. He said, "I have met this man you are talking about, I see him several times a week." This man who jumped out of the bushes is a man who is a close friend of President Clinton. He is in the White House and dealing with senators on a daily basis. He said that we should meet and talk together and then said to me "You don't understand how big this story is!"

I answered that I believed that I understood this quite well but wasn't able to express everything on that evening. I said that I had also read Benjamin Creme's books and knew that there would be great changes. But he said, "No, you don't understand, it's much bigger than you think!" And I said, "No, I really think I understand how big the Reappearance of the Christ is" and he said, "No, no, it is much bigger." ...he spent five hours telling me about all the contacts he has had with Maitreya.

From the same interview, Peterson's understanding of Maitreya's approaching "Day of Declaration":

On that day Maitreya will go on international television worldwide and telepathically every human being will hear his message for his plan to transform humanity in his or her native language but it will be telepathic. Then he will give what he calls this experience of himself so there will be no doubts in anyone's heart of who he is because people recognize him instantly when he does this.
...
The government we have today will not survive 15 even 10 years after Maitreya's TV address. As much as we may worship our current system and all the other institutions we have build for 2,000 years in the western world under Christianity which then spread to rest of the world: these are not going to exist any longer.

Just as in the old Roman Empire when the new Christian consciousness came in and swept over it. They build new institutions from the ground up because there was nothing the Christian consciousness could use from the old Roman system. But of course, they had several hundreds of years to deal with it, we don't. Our change is going to be more dramatic; we just have a couple of decades at most, to make the transformation.
...
It's that close. It could happen any day. As you might know, Benjamin Creme who is in constant telepathic contact with one of the Masters has said and Maitreya has also said this a number of times that you can be sure, he will appear as soon as you see the American stock market crash. Almost immediately after that he will go on TV and calm the fears and say, "This is a necessary step towards the new world we're moving into."

Transmitting directly to the brain a "divine," We are the world message that leaves no room for doubt sounds to me like "Project Pandora," the application of psychocivilizing technologies, and MindWar.

In another interview, Peterson had this to say about what Maitreya will bring the world:

We have gotten ourselves in so deep over our heads that no nation, no group of people can do enough to pull us back out of this. Maitreya's message is that humanity can be guided back onto the right path and through working with the Masters, bring new technology into our lives to bring these changes about.

Q: What kind of technology?

A: What we need more than anything else right now is a new source of energy. That is something that Maitreya has promised, we are told. I understand that there are scientists working on new types of energy right now that will free us from our use of fossil fuel. All of our nuclear power plants can be shut down and we'll have abundant energy for every village in the world.

So it seems Maitreya's "Day of Declaration" will mean, to an oil-exhausted world, an end to the "hunt for zero point." Or perhaps, rather, an end to the illusion that the hunt is still on.

Further in Peterson's interview, George HW Bush's name appears:

Q: Do you know of any former US presidents that are aware of Maitreya and the work?

A: When I did transmission meditation in Washington DC, we used the house of one of President George Bush's advisors. The man himself was not a member of the group but allowed his housekeeper to host our meetings. One evening, while Mr. Bush was having dinner with his associate, he jokingly asked our group hostess, "Am I going to win this election against Bill Clinton?" and she said "No, Mr. President, Lord Maitreya has already said that you are going to loose." At least he heard it from that one point, but I'm sure he has probably had other contacts with Maitreya as well.

One of Those Things

One of those things. That's all this may amount to. One of those crazy things, that prove to be nothing, and their study simply squandered time. Quite possibly so.

Unfortunately, if it isn't, there may be nothing more important in the world.

In Unshackled, the autobiography of mind control survivor Kathleen Sullivan, she refers to a perpetrator by the pseudonym of "Lucian," whom she describes as a statesman, master hypnotist and paedophile. Sullivan writes that over the years of their association, Lucian confided this to her:

True or not, Lucian told me that Lucis Trust planned to make a man called "Lord Maitreya" their representative to the world, to attract and indoctrinate the masses into the Luciferians' planned world religion (as part of their Aryan-Greco-Roman-Egyptian "New World Order"). Lucian said the Lucis Trust would convince Christians that Maitreya was the reincarnated Messiah, returned to Earth.

Lucian taught several of my alter-states that he and his fellow worshippers were being kept in spiritual darkness along with Lucifer, who took on the persona of the dark lord, Satan, when Jesus Christ stole the light from him.... He explained that some Luciferians had already passed on and become gods. He called them "Ascended Masters." He convinced me that some devotees are able to "channel" the Masters in occult rituals.

Something worth remembering about Luciferians. It may sound backwards and inside-out, given the dark manifestations of their philosophy and magickal workings, but they are essentially cockeyed optimists. They believe they are bringing light to the world, not darkness, and that humanity has a capacity for illumination far beyond that admitted by major religions.

They think they're the good guys. They think they are saving the world.

Benjamin Creme told Sean David Morton that "Hitler was a very high spiritual master," and conceded only after prodding from Morton that his "power may have been 'misused.'"

One of those crazy things.

The symbol of Maitreya:
